You've got the Love | a festival inspired OOTD

Greetings everyone! It's been quite some time since I last updated you on my daily antics to say the least. But let's not get into this now and talk about the amazigness that is COACHELLA 2015, shall we? I've always been a big festival enthusiast (in fact my love for festival goes as far as travelling abroad for the sake of going to one), so it goes without saying that I woke up in the middle of the night to watch the Coachella live stream (damn you time zones!). I was pretty excited for Clean Bandit, as they always put on an amazing show + their songs are catchy as hell! Another favourite of mine was Tyler, the Creator, to whom I've been listening to since I was 14. Although he might not be everyone's cup of tea, his performances never fail to amaze me. And of course, let's not forget about Drake who closed Weekend 1 of Coachella! Of course, the amazing live performances are not only things that make headlines! It's the lot of celebrities papped dancing along to the music, attending events and socialising that often score the cover page of various gossip magazines. The best part about this you ask? The huge amount of outfit shots we get! Although I have to say I'm not too keen on the "let's-appropriate-other-peoples'-cultures-for-the-sake-of-looking-edgy" trend, the outfits seen at Coachella are on another level!
Watching all these amazing artists perform live, made me wish I was part of this unforgettable weekend. In honour of Coachella, I put together this simple festival inspired outfit! This is definitely something I would see myself wearing at a festival! The floaty trousers are perfect for a music festival, since they don't get in the way whilst dancing and jumping around (unlike the oh so stylish but probably not so festival appropriate maxi skirts). I picked these ones up from the H&M x Coachella collection. I was quite impressed with their collection and would definitely recommend it to you! I got the lace bralet from the underwear section at H&M but I think it could definitely pass as a top. Funnily enough, the kimono and the hat are also from H&M, I swear I did not do this on purpose! I also went with a pair of classic Ray-Ban sunglasses, to keep away the sun! Although I am not wearing shoes in those pictures, I would go with either a pair of trainers or some boots.
Who was your favourite act at Coachella? Let me know in the comments down below!
I hope you enjoyed this post! I will see you very soon with a new post!

I WANT IT THAT WAY

Long time no see! Today was all about boybands and 90's fashion...hence the title and the look. Initially, we were going out for lunch with our family, but that plan quickly dropped for me when I heard about the BBC Radio One Big Weekend line-up...or the time tables to be more exact. As One Direction were on at 1pm, I decided against a lovely tasty meal with my family and opted for a rather average salad all on my own. Radio 1 really oudid themselves with this years line-up, leaving everyone, including me, jealous. Anyway, since I couldn't spent my entire day singing along to songs at a festival that I am not even at, I decided to take a few outfit snaps! The tartan skirt, I bought off from Asos, and the chunky chelsea boots are a new favourite of mine. Since the skirt was quite loud, I opted for a plain white crop top. To finish of this 90's Clueless inspired look, I went with nylon socks, chelsea boots and everyone's least favourite accessory, a tattoo choker!

Also I went a bit crazy with the editing, hence the chewbacca-looking picture! I was thinking of doing a festival lookbook, as I did last year and was wondering if any of you guys were interested in seeing it? Let me know in the comments down below!
Lots of love xx

WE'RE SPEAKING IN BODIES//OOTD

As always, I have to apologise for the lack of blogging in the last few months(?!). To be honest, thinking back at it, I don't even know what I was doing! I was just being a busy bee (yes you can even be one as a teenager!) trying to pass my grades. Anyway enough of me excusing! Here's an outfit which I wore quite a few times already, so I thought I'd share this with you. This is my go-to outfit whenever I'm meeting up with friends and I'm in a hurry (which I always am). Ever since I've bought this jacket, I can't seem to take it off. Apart from the fact that it is super snuggly and you just want to cuddle yourself into it until you are a burrito of cuddly snuggly fabric it also looks quite fashionable in my opinion! I was originally looking for a faux fur jacket, but when I spotted this baby in H&M quietly hanging in the corner (ok get it together now Mira and stop dramatising everything) I just could not not get it. I've always been a lover of over sized chunky pieces so naturally I had to get this in the biggest size possible. Also sorry for going crazy with the editing. I guess I was just trying to hide the fact that the quality of this is super duper rubbish haha.

PS:  I am currently uploading my first EVER youtube video which I'm dying to show you. It's been taking aaaages to upload so expect it to be up tonight.

As Casual As It Gets

Long time no see! Here I am, looking like I just crawled out of a hole and haven't seen any sunlight in the last few months. The weather has been truly rubbish in the last few weeks, which only made my craving for summer stronger! Horrible creatures we are, always complaining and never satisfied.  As a result, I am now constantly (I'm speaking of 1-2 hours daily) looking at summer gear, which probably isn't the healthiest thing to do for someone planning on saving up money. On the contrary, I started working out to get in shape. It's harder than I thought though, I love pizza and candy way too much. The outfit that I chose is very casual, as you can guess from the title. My motivation to do anything that demands any kind of effort is missing so excuse the bare face!  I chose this slouchy shirt which I bought a year or two ago from Zadig&Voltaire and paired it with my H&M jeans and blazer! As for shoes, I went with my new favourite boots which are, surprise, also from H&M. They reminded me of something that Kylie Jenner would wear, so I automatically had to buy them. I absolutely love the silver detailing on them. I hope you enjoy!
PS: Also excuse the awkward modelling!

...and I told you to be patient.

This is in no way a reference to my long absence neither has it anything to do with this blog post. Hell I should stop dramaticising things so much!

Today's blogpost is dedicated to my new hideous shoes. Nostalgia comes over me when I wear them. The gladiator-esque  sandals I bought, remind me of those jellie shoes I had as a kid. I remember, little 6 year old me, on the beach in my coloured jellies while playing in the sand. Oh how I wish it was summer already! My bittersweet longing for my childhood years which are impossible to recover made my craving for them grow with each memory! After sleepless nights (I'm not exaggerating) of browsing through the Internet I finally found a pair that wasn't too expensive. I bought mine from a website called Mr. Shoes. They are indeed the perfect spring shoe and easy to work with. I provided some cheeky snaps that I took with my Iphone camera for you, the artist I am...
Although I wouldn't give them back for anything in this world, (I mean I you'd offer me Harry Styles or Ryan Gosling we could talk) I have to say that the quality isn't too amazing. They feel quite cheap and whenever I wear them I am scared that they'd break. Luckily they weren't too expensive, so getting a new pair won't be a hassle!

I hope you enjoyed todays's post! It's a bit different, writing wise! I hope you don't mind.
Life Update: There's a Dunkin Donut opening where I live and I'm so fucking excited! Sorry for the swearing but I couldn't think of another word that would describe my excitement. You know me and food...

Lots of love

Summer Ahoy!

I'm gonna skip today's selfie sunday because my face isn't cooperating and neither is my hair or any other body part... I took a few sneaky snaps of my outfit which I thought I could show you! Like I told you in my previous post, I started taking pictures with my Iphone because I simply do not have the time to edit them on the computer etc etc. Therefor excuse the quality, I had to take them with the front camera! Again, I hope you don't mind! As you've all probably guessed, I can't wait for summer! I don't think my summer cravings are healthy anymore. Seriously all I seem to do is reblogg summery pictures on Tumblr. This probably explains why today's outfit post is completely weather inappropriate. I featured this lovely Zara cropped jersey which I bought yesterday. Combined with the white H&M shorts, this outfit looks very casual. I have to say that the shorts are quite see through, so I'd definitely recommend wearing skin coloured panties or else everyone is going to see your heart printed panties bum haha! You've also probably guessed that I do not own a lot of shoes and usually stick to the odd few pairs. I went with me trusty old Doc Martens, which I've been wearing since 2011! They're the best shoes ever and soooo comfy. I'm hiding my tired eyes under the Wildfox sunnies I got a year ago. I love the bold look of them!
 See you hopefully tomorrow!

Our July in the Rain

Hiiii dolls! Sorry for my two day absence, I just haven't been feeling well. I'm really trying to blog as much as I can (now that I'm still on my school break) and missing two days for no reason got me kind of upset with myself. Considering, that I used to blog once or twice a week last year, two days don't seem like much haha. My friends and I went out yesterday and had an absolute blast. Now, I'm normally not the most outgoing person but a little party never killed nobody right? I did nap most of the day though because I was really tired. Recently, my mum and I went to our local H&M, where I picked these thigh high socks up. I wasn't too sure on them at first, because they can be quite unflattering at times, especially if you're short as me. I paired them with shorts I got from Bournemouth a few years ago and a this H&M blouse. I swear I do own different clothes apart from H&M haha.
Hope you enjoy! xo

The First Blank Page

 Happy New Year everyone!
I hope you all had a smashing time! What did you all do to celebrate the end of 2013? Time flew by so quickly, I honestly can't believe we're already 2014. Even saying we're 2014 is weird, it freaks me out! Did you guys make any resolutions for the new year? I stopped making them since they last approximately 2 days until I give up. I actually stayed in on NYE (talk about being more outgoing), but wanted to show you this outfit I created nonetheless. Don't mind the weird looking buns on my head, I honestly don't know what I was thinking haha. Anyway,  I should probably go now since it's past 2 am and I'm not feeling too well (think I might be coming down with a cold)
Love you loads xo and see you very soon!

AIN'T IT FUN

Hope you all had a smashing Christmas! I've been staring at my computer screen for the last 10 minutes and sat by the computer trying to write this post since 3pm. I don't know if it's the weather or the fact that Christmas is officially over *sob* but all I want to do these days is sleeping. Don't even begin with being productive in the slightest hahah. Anyway, I did shoot these pictures a few days ago and wanted to show you how I styled my items which I got from the H&M sales. Hope you'll enjoy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you're all spending some quality time with your family and eat loads of tasty food (if you celebrate Christmas). Just thought I'd share my Christmas Eve outfits before heading to sleep. (Don't ask me why I changed outfits haha) I'm suuuuper exhausted and can't wait to hop into my cozy bed. The dress that I am wearing in the first picture is from Missguided. The shirt in the second picture is from Abercrombie&Fitch and the skirt from Amazon. I'll be posting more pictures tomorrow!
Ps: I'm updating from an Ipad, so I'm not sure how this blogpost will come out...excuse any typos
lots of love xo

Long Time Gone

I guess I should start of by apologising for my awkward posing. Outfit posts always look nice when taken with a high quality dslr, shot somewhere nice and sunny and great editing skills. Unfortunately I have neither of them, which equals me, awkwardly posing in my bedroom haha. Anyway, enough of the complaints, it's almost Christmas and I'm super excited! All the yummy food, spending some quality time with the family, etc...I can't believe we're almost 2014. Time flew by so quickly! One of my new year's resolutions are definitely trying to be more healthy and update this blog more often! Aaaaaaand saving up for a new camera, which will definitely make updating more fun!

For all you music enthusiast: Did you know that Norah Jones and Billie Joe Armstrong did an album together? I listened to it today, and let me tell you it's absolutely amazing! I used to listen to a lot of Green Day when growing up, so it was definitely nice to see Billie Joe do something completely different.
I'm so exhausted, today has been...emotional haha

hope you enjoyed! lots of love x

SWEATER WEATHER

Here's the promised outfit post! Again, I'm really sorry for the rubbish quality. I really have to get myself a new camera soon. As already mentioned in my previous blogpost, we went to see Hunger Games and this is what I wore. I was originally wearing my all time fav slipknot shirt but then opted for this white chunky sweater. It's much more comfortable and keeps me warm. I love how chrismas-sy (ok don't judge me) it looks combined with the velvet skirt! Are you as excited for Christmas as I am? All the fairy lights and Christmas music really make me wish to be the 25th of December already!

OFF TOPIC: Is anyone attending Reading 2014? If you're going keep your eyes and ears open for the line-up announcement today! I'm so so excited haha. Who'd you love to see next year? My personal favourites would be The Rolling Stones (probably not happening but oh well...), You Me At Six, Blink-182, 30 Seconds to Mars and the Arctic Monkeys!

Tartan trousers

 Hello lovelies!
Here's the promised outfit post. I did insert a cheeky picture of my new haircut, because it's simply not worth doing a separate post all about the cut. I initially wanted to go shorter, but the hairdresser recommended me not to do it since I've got pretty thick hair. It came out okay and I'm surprisingly satisfied with the result.

I've been dying to show you these super fancy trousers I bought in H&M a while ago. I really love the pattern and colour! I paired them with a navy blue coat which I got ages ago from H&M. My blouse is surprisingly also from H&M haha..I swear I do shop at other places aswell.
I'm going to Saarbrücken tomorrow (no shopping for me though), so I might take a few snaps there. Hope you'll enjoy!

Layering whites

So yesterday was quite boring. We went to visit family, and since it was nothing too exciting I didn't really dress up much. However, I did put this outfit together which I wanted to show you. It's basically a mess of a lot of white layers haha. I find layering quite challeging, since most of the time you just end up looking like a hobo. I paired the white mess of layers with a comfy pair of jeans and my all time favourite trainers. I opted for this ZARA bag because I think it goes pretty well with the white since it's neutral. I'm hopefully going shopping tomorrow, I'm in serious need of retail therapy haha. I've also been thinking of dying and cutting my hair. It's just so damaged and because I choose to dye it so many times throughout the years it has many different colours. It's just horrible. I was seriously thinking about going blonde (not too blond though) and getting a bob. What do you think?
Hope you'll enjoy!
